Overview

The Medication and Supplement Log is a chronological record of doses taken or skipped for any prescription, over-the-counter medication, or supplement you are on. Each entry captures the medication name, the dose, the time, and a status, taken, skipped, or partial. Over weeks the log answers the awkward questions everyone forgets, did I take the morning tablet, did I double up, did I skip three Tuesdays in a row, all without relying on memory.

For people on chronic medication, on supplements with cumulative effects, or on antibiotics with strict adherence requirements, the log doubles as a record to bring to a pharmacist or specialist. For carers and parents managing a child's or elderly parent's meds, it is a single source of truth that can be reviewed at a glance. Because it tracks intent as well as action, you can also use it to test the impact of a new supplement by correlating doses with symptoms in the symptom diary.

How it works

You add a medication entry with a name, dose, time, and status. Common medications can be re-added from history with a single click, so daily logging is fast. The day view shows everything taken or skipped so far; the history view groups by medication and shows adherence rates.

Entries live in your browser's local storage. There is no syncing to a pharmacy, no reminder service, and no data shared with anyone unless you copy it yourself.

Examples

  • Logging a morning blood-pressure tablet, 5 mg, taken at 7 a.m., for a clean daily adherence record.
  • Tracking a 10-day antibiotic course twice daily, with one skipped dose flagged for context.
  • Recording a vitamin D supplement at 1000 IU every morning, useful when reviewing a blood test result.
  • Logging an as-needed pain reliever with the time and dose, to avoid double-dosing under fatigue.

FAQ

Is this a medical device?
No. It is a personal log intended to support conversations with qualified health professionals.

Can I track scheduled and as-needed medications together?
Yes. Both are valid entries. As-needed doses simply appear without a fixed schedule.

Will it remind me when a dose is due?
The log shows the day's pattern when you open it. For active reminders, pair it with a calendar or pillbox app.

Is my medication data private?
Entries are stored in your browser's local storage on this device. Nothing is uploaded.

Can I export the log?
Yes. You can copy or print the history view for a pharmacist or doctor.
